Bloody ace game, took a bit of getting into as i didn't play the first one, but once your into it the gameplays great.

Online it's a winner too. Stopped me playing call of duty 4 since i got it.

I had to get rid of the gixxer due to 3 prolapsed discs!!! so after test riding everything from a fazer thou to the cb1000r i got a ktm superduke R(i'll try and post a picture soon)

Probably not the best time to buy a new bike but the deal was to good to leave!

I loved the gixxer for a hours blast but after going touring in france last year it wasnt great, riding it for 8 hours a day.

Track bike

After faffing about for the past 2 months I have come up with a plan for next years track bike ....

I have looked at �1,000.00 heaps which will spend more time in bits than on the track, so not going for this option, a realy good track bike with some bling will cost around �3,500.00 I dont have this kind of money so rules that one out ...

My plan is to buy a damaged bike probably a CBR600RR (as its a honda and will not fall apart) and put a race fairing on and see how it goes next ...

Anyone alive???

I was planning to start shopping around for my 600 in the next couple of weeks but as things did not go according to plan that will have to wait a bit longer .

I am hoping to get a zx6r as this is the only 600 i can get my feet down on safely but would lllllooooooorrrrvvvveeee the R6 but they were made just too high for me. Even with the lowering kit it still wouldn't be low enough .But the only thing that it can't be is in the green as i don't like them, possibly the silver and black if ...

Am thinking of getting a track bike for next year, I like the blade for its power and handling but feel it lacks the ground clearence to really use on the track ..

I like the idea of a V-twin but dont want the hassle of a duke ...

Looking at the SP1 and SP2 they seem to be a V-twin fireblade ..

Anyone got any thoughts on these bikes ??

It's weird 4 years ago we saw recorded breaking temps of 100F, then 3 years ago we had a nice great summer with weeks of summer days in the high 80F.

This was all because of global warming and then last year was just floods this was still down to global warming.

This summer well lets just say what summer, i'm guessing this summer must be one of the wettest we had for sometime.

Once again it's all down to that global warming thing we keep here about.

So what Is global warming just one ...

Renthal Road/race grips medium compound

Brought a set of these for the RGV but never got round to putting them on .... since I have sold the RGV I thought I would give them a go on the blade.

they are alot thinner than the standard honda grips and alot softer, but they do offer better feed back from the front tyre, not a massive difference but a difference that more than justifies the 7 quid they cost. If you are into touring they are not that comfortable, but for general road riding/sunny days balsts etc well worth the money ...

RST Voltage 1 piece leathers

Yep i know they aren't the most expensive leathers on the market but they are bloody good for the money you pay for them.

They fit me better than any other suit i tried whilst looking for some new leathers, and that ranged from the RST's to �1000 Dainese Bora.

There isn't as much armour in them as the more expensive suits but what is there is good quality Knox armour and in the right places.

They also have a good movement range in them.

My only beef with them is that ...

Just come back from a tour around France and really enjoyed it but 2 weeks on my gixxer was hard work, the wife has given me the green light to get a touring bike i've seen a Suzuki vstrom 1000 and i've got a test ride booked for Saturday but can anyone recommend anything else

After a lot of thought I have booked my bike in for a full Ohlins set-up which includes the rear stock, forks re-valved and Ohlins springs.

Was going to go the Maxton route but with Ohlins at least if I turn into a fat git in my old age the Ohlins is very ajustable.

Will post when the bike is completed ....

Whats your best riding days

My best days have got to be as a teenager aged 17 and armed with a RDZ125 no kids no and no worries In the world.

A ride out with the Lads or well as quick as the bike would goto Heston and then on the Chelsea bridge, Then back to Heston then back to the bridge and back home for about 04:00 In the morning.

We always had someone break down or come off lucky we never got hurt racing through stand still traffic in London was not the best of Ideas i guess.

But ...

My bike is a 98 fireblade which is pretty clean for the year, the bike is standard apart from a few cosmetic changes.
