PostSubject: Not happy!!   Tue May 12, 2009 6:29 pm

Bought an undertray off ebay the other week from america as i could'nt find anyone in the uk that sells them.
Anyway i went and collected it from parcelforce today, had to pay £17 handling fee aswell, then as the place i was buying the paint from was just down the road went and got that aswell.

I then had to do a few other things and got round to trial fitting it at about 5pm.

I am now v.pissed off as the dam thing is way to small.

Have started a dispute with paypal to get my money back for it, but i've still wasted the money on the paint and the other £17 handling fee. NOT HAPPY!!! mad mad

Here's a pic.

Is it not coz you have the panel off, ie its "sprung" out, would it fit better if you held the panel in onto the lugs, think Boz or Gidds of jokers site had asimilar problem & did a "how to" on getting it to fit.

Nope. not cos it's off.
Even if i push it in, which is a long way it's still too small.

that looks quite a big gap to try and force the seat unit to fit, but it may be worth a try as bobcb says, fingers crossed

did you save any money long term by buying it over seas? should you have not just got one over here? Or was it some special thing you fancied the look of?

Was at the time one i couldn't find over here.
As it didn't fit and was a cock up i got hold of a good condition standard one and put that on.
Looks lovely.
